Complete kitchen refurbishment in UB5, Northolt

Our latest but not the last kitchen refurbishment project completed in Nov 2019 in Northolt, UB5, West London. The layout of the kitchen was pretty standard with freestanding appliances, laminate worktop and mosaic tiled splash back.

The new design of the kitchen was realized by Howdens Joinery, the Watford branch.

After the old kitchen was completely stripped out, the electrician did his magic and wired the new electrical points. The walls were repaired since on each side we had dry-lined walls with 9mm plasterboard fitted on. The new plaster coat applied on the walls allowed us to paint the walls with ease and achieve a much smoother and cleaner surface. The paint applied on the walls is Dulux easycare kitchen willow tree matt emulsion and pure brilliant white on the ceiling.

With Chelford kitchen units lineup, the installation of the new kitchen units was pretty straightforward, 38mm oak effect laminate worktop, Lamona steel single bowl sink and Zanussi integrated hob and oven. The freestanding washing machine, dryer and fridge/freezer were all from Bosch.

We limited the glass splash back only above the hob to protect the wall from grease and heat and fitted tiled splash back in front of the sink to protect the wall from the water while washing the dishes.
